Anna Mae had been a member of the Virginia WBA for 15+ years. She competed in several MWBA Championships Tournaments over the years. Her career high game was 299, career high three game series 780, career high sanction average was 193.

She and her partner won the Virginia WBA Championship Tournament doubles in 1961 with a 1178. She won the Virginia WBA Championship Tournament singles also in 1961 with a 699. and also that same year won the All Events with a 1836. She had several 700 series and at least 12-600 series, actual. She competed in many WIBC Championships Tournaments.

In 1960 the Mesaba Daily News in Virginia, MN., selected Anna as the "Woman Athlete of the Year." She placed 29th in the 7th Annual BPAA National Doubles with partner Ann Stangfield. In 1961 she competed in the women's Invitational Match Game Championship.
