Polly held the office as the New Ulm WBA secretary for several years. She served as chairman of the New Ulm BVL and Awards Committees. She also worked with the New Ulm 600 Club and AJBC. Polly was the person to take responsibility for State Tournaments for many years, without her involvement many of the New Ulm bowlers would not have participated. Polly was the first person to be inducted into the New Ulm WBA Hall of Fame, in 1971.

Polly was a delegate to the WIBC Convention in 1963-64. She had bowled in several national tournaments.

Polly had many accomplishments in the 1940s and the 1950s, but were never recorded, but the New Ulm WBA members know it would have been a long list. She was never a high average bowler but was very committed to the sport of bowling and her fellow bowlers.
