Irma Anderson has been a member of the MWBA since 1946, and has served as a director for 14 years and second vice-president for 14 years. She was chairman of the invocation and memorial committee for four years and the 600 Club membership for 21 years.
She conducted the state 600 Tournament for nine years. She was a state certified instructor for over 10 years. She was on the State Bowling Council for 25 years serving as vice-president four years and president for two years. She was a delegate to the MWBA convention five years before becoming a director. She was a delegate to the WIBC convention for 17 years and served as assistant sergeant-at-arms one year. She has bowled in 25 WIBC tournaments. She was the Brainerd Association secretary for nine years and treasurer for 15 years. She has also served as league secretary-treasurer. She has been the secretary-treasurer of the Brainerd Junior Bowling Association and an AJBC coach.
She coordinated the state bowling calendar for 17 years. She received the Minnesota BPA "Tell Him So" award in 1969, the Brainerd WBA "Bowler of the Year" award in 1974, MWBA Member Ermitus in 1987 and was given a Life Membership in the Brainerd WBA in 1990. Her high career game is 244, high series 627 and her career high average is 173.
