Linquist, 47, is the youngest of the foursome and has an outstanding national, international, state, and local record. Aided by a second place 757 series in singles, he won the 1976 American Bowling Congress all-events title with a 2071 total. He was fifth in doubles and sixth in all-events in the 1979 ABC meet.

He was the first bowler in the nation to post three 2000 ABC all-events totals and has a 24-year average of 199. On the international level, he was first doubles, five-man and eight-man teams in the 1977 Federation Internationale des Quilliers American zone competition.

Lindquist, who has two of the 11 perfect games rolled in state tourney history, won the MMBA doubles and all-events in 1976, doubles in 1978, and team all-events in 1979. He has 12 Minneapolis Bowling Association titles, one team title in St. Paul, won the Tribune Classic twice and won nine Central Bowlers Association crowns. He was elected to the MBA Hall of Fame in 1978.
