Lois has been a Detroit Lakes WBA and MWBA Member for 41 years. She held the office of MWBA Director for 4 years. MWBA Treasurer for 22 years and at present is still serving as MWBA Treasurer.

She has served as chairman on the MWBA Jamboree Committee 2 years, MWBA Invocation-Memorial 6 years and MWBA Hall of Fame Committee 2 years. She has served on the following MWBA Committees: Finance & Budget – 22 years, Jamboree – 6 years and Hall of Fame – 3 years. She has been a MWBA Delegate from Detroit Lakes WBA 6 years and as MWBA Director and Officer 26 years. She has competed in 35 MWBA Championship Tournaments. She has held the following Detroit Lakes WBA offices: President 8+ years, Secretary 22+ years and Director 4+ years. She served as chairman of the following Detroit Lakes WBA Committees: Legislative 22+ years, AJBC/YABA 25+ years, Nominating 6 years and Lane Certification. She served as WIBC Assistant to Sgt. At Arms 3 years and WIBC Nominating Committee 2 years.

She has been a WIBC Delegate 29 years and has competed in 29 WIBC Championship Tournaments. She served as President/Secretary of Detroit Lakes WBA Invitational Tournaments, served as chairman of the In School Bowling Program for the Detroit Lakes School System, organized the first Detroit Lakes Junior Bowling Assn. (AJBC) in 1965, is a Certified Lane Inspector and has organized Detroit Lakes WBA bus trips to 2 WIBC and 6 MWBA Championship Tournaments.

She was honored with a WIBC Life Membership from the Detroit Lakes WBA in 1989. She received a letter of appreciation from Detroit Lakes School System for the In School Bowling Program, and received the Presidential Sports Award from the President of the United States, Richard Nixon in 1973. Her career high game 248, high series 618 and high season average 159.
