Mary has been a member of the Minnesota WBA for 31 years, competed in 25+ Minnesota Women’s Championship tournaments and has been a delegate for 18 years at the Minnesota Annual meeting.
She was a director for 11 years for the MWBA and in that capacity served as chairman of the State 600 Club tournament for 7 years. She also served 1 year on the nominating committee and 1 year on credentials. Mary served on the Minnesota State transition board. Currently she serves as a director for the MN State USBC and is on the Awards and Recognition committee.
On the National level Mary has been a delegate for 14 years and competed in 20 National Championship tournaments. She served as a teller for 3 years.
Mary has been a member of the Hibbing WBA for 31 years. She was Sgt at Arms for 4 years and President for 16 years. She also served as chairperson of the Budget & Finance committee for 2 years, 600 Club for 10 years and was chairperson of the Hibbing USBC Transition committee. Currently she is President of the Hibbing USBC Assn.
Her other accomplishments include organizing bus trips to bowling tournaments and starting the local YABA in 2004. She has worked hard to promote bowling to the youth in the community and now Hibbing also has a high school bowling team. Mary’s career high game is 279 and her high three-game series is 679. Her career high season average is 178.
