Norm, age 72, and wife Annetta have three children. Norm has many titles in his bowling career. Has been a league bowler for over 46 years with a lifetime average over 195. He has two sanctioned 300'' and a 299.

In 1957, he was a member of the Bowlers Journal All Start Team. In that same year, he was a member of the ABC All Events Championship Team, contributing a 2007 total – the first 2000+ score shot by a Minnesotan. Had a 198 average for 119 games in the National All Star. Was a finalist in 1962 rolling a 300 in the finals. Holds a World's Invitational average of 196 for 96 games. Member of State Championship teams in 1957, 1969 & 1972. Won the State Singles & All Events in 1959.

Holder of seven St Paul City titles. Was the St. Paul 700 Club Champion in 1958. George Dodor winner in 1970. Member of the St Paul All City Team four times. Was the Minneapolis Singles Champ in 1958 and Singles Classic champ in 1959.

Norm has participated in over 20 State Tournaments and has averaged over 200 in 15 of them. Norm Abrams has been a great representative for the State of Minnesota in the sport of bowling.
