Dick is a member of Greater St. Paul Bowling Association serving as its President in 1985-86 and as a Board Member since 1970.

Elected to the St. Paul Hall of Fame in 1993.

Has been a member of the State Bowling Association since 1986 and served as President during the 2000-01 season. Served as chairman and a member of many committees and originated and published the State Directors Handbook. Also originated the Longevity Awards program for the State Association.

Dick assisted the Association as a member of the on site tournament working committee for 13 years.
