Roger is 51 years old, he has a wife, Janet, and one child.

Roger has bowled in sanctioned league competition for 38 years, and he has carried a 200 plus average for 24 years or more. In 1995 he finished the season with a 220 average at Apple Place. He has participated in 24 ABC National Tournaments, 24 State Tournaments, and many other tournaments throughout the state. He has eleven 300 games, two 299 games, three 298 games, and he has had two 800 plus series. He has three state doubles titles, and two state team titles. He also has three team titles, a doubles title in Minneapolis, and one city team title in St. Paul.

He is a member of the Minneapolis Hall of Fame, and a director of the Minneapolis District Bowling Association. He also has been a director of the CBA for 14 years and has won several CBA tournaments. He is also active in the Brothers and Sisters. Roger sure has had an outstanding bowling career.
