Rose was a member of the MWBA for over 45 years. She began bowling in 1925.

She won the MWBA Championship Tournament Singles title in 1949 with a score of 632. Rose was a member of the St. Paul WBA and Minneapolis WBA for over 45 years.

She won the local Championship Tournament Singles title twice (1940-41 score of 561) (1950-51 score of 594). She won the St. Paul 600 Club Championship Tournament in 1958. Rose was inducted into the St. Paul Hall of Fame in 1964.

Rose had competed in 49 WIBC Championship Tournaments.
