Sherri has been involved with bowling from league to state level for more than 35 years. She spends many volunteer hours working tournaments, communicating via social media and assisting local associations. On the National level she has hosted roundtables at workshops and was also one of the 5 persons that took part in answering questions on the Merger Forum workshop. She especially likes visiting veterans at the Minnesota Veterans Homes, representing Minnesota State USBC at National conventions and attending local association meetings as a guest speaker. In 2015, she proposed the Youth Scholarship Program to the State Board. Currently, the program awards $8,000 a year in scholarships to Minnesota youth bowlers.
