Dennis is 45 years old and has one child. Dennis started bowling in junior leagues at the age of 10. He has the distinction of being elected to the St. Paul City and the Minnesota State Bowling Halls of Fame in the same season.
His national accomplishments include winning the Bowlers Journal in 1986. He was a member of the ABC championship teams in 1984 and 1988 and a member of the ABC All-Events Championship Team in 1984 and 1985. He has several other top 15 finishes in ABC tournaments.
Dennis was the State-All-Events Champion in 1986. He was the St. Paul City Tournament Actual Doubles title in 1977. He repeated this title in 1981 along with the handicap doubles title. In 1984 and again in 1986, Dennis was a member of the St. Paul City Actual Championships Team.
Dennis won the St. Paul Masters Tournament in 1979. He is a member of the St. Paul 700 Club and won the "AA" Division Championship in 1982.
He has been a member of the St. Paul All City Team four times: 1977-78, 1978-79, 1979-80, and 1983-84.
Other accomplishments include four CBA titles, Hank Albers Classic Singles in Mandan, S.D., and a Nobie Rief Championship.
Dennis has more than one hundred 700+ series. He has rolled seven 300 games, one 299 game, and one 298 game. His highest sanctioned is an 804. He has average over 200 for the last 25 years with a 215 as his highest final season average to date.
