Diane started bowling in 1969 at Mady's Bowl in Columbia Heights, MN at the age of 11. Her high series the first year was 299. She bowled for the University of Minnesota bowling team from 1977-1979, competed in many collegiate matches and tournaments. Diane has the following titles: *St. Cloud Kegle Singles Championship 1990(680) *St. Cloud Kegle Doubles Champion 1992 *St. Cloud Kegle All Events Champion 1995 State Mixed Team Tournament Champion 1996 *Minnesota State Amateur Champion 1999 *Minnesota State Champion-Team Scratch (3018) 2000. She has bowled in Minnesota WBA Championship Tournaments for 20+ years.
Diane has been a member of the Minneapolis WBA Board since 1996. She started bowling with the Lind's/On Track Tournament team in 1999 (team members Lisa Nadeau, Terri Suhr, Lisa Duenow and Deb Lantto. Diane has the following Minneapolis titles: *Minneapolis City Tournament Doubles Champion with Karen Schact (1239) 1991 *Minneapolis 600 Tournament Scratch Champion (631) 1991 *Minneapolis City Tournament Team Champions Div 1 1992 (2966) 1994 (3130) 1999 (3426-new record) *1996 Minneapolis City Tournament Team Scratch Champions 2000 *Minneapolis City Mixed Couples Tournament Scratch Champion 2000-2001-2002 *In 2000 the team shot a 989 for the new record for 4-women team game in the State *In 2002 her League Team shot 1014 game which was the second in the Nation for 1 man/3 women *In 2002 her League Team shot a 2896 series, which was a new record in the Nation for 4-women series *Diane was inducted into the Minneapolis WBA Hall of Fame in 1997. For the 2000-2001 season Diane was a member of the St. Paul All City Honorable Mention. Diane was an original member of the Minnesota Mudhens, the first women's Tournament Team formed.
Diane has bowled in the WIBC National Championship Tournaments for 19 years. She has bowled in the WIBC Queen's Tournament for 7 years, cashing twice and the BPAA U.S. Open 3 years, cashing twice.

Diane has had fifty-two (52) 700 series, the highest being 786 which was bowled in 1998. She has had six 300 games. She holds the highest average in the State in the 2002-2003 season at 216.
