Dick, 68, and his wife Rene have three children. Dick has a perfect game to his credit and a 816 series with a 212 high average in his career. He has over 45 series of 700 or better.
Dick was on a team that won the State Team Championship at Mankato in 1987. Dick has three Association titles winning them in the Central Minnesota Bowling Association in 1986. He had a 806 in singles, won doubles with a 1462 total, and also all events with a 2216 total. Dick won the Times Match Games Championship in 1998 in St. Cloud, a prestigious and endurance tournament.
Dick has been an officer in various associations that he has bowled. He was a director in the Minneapolis Men's Bowling Association for five years, he was the first President of the Wright County Bowling Association when it was formed, and he was a State Director for twelve years.
Dick was inducted into the Wright County Area Bowling Association Hall of Fame in 1987 and was inducted to the Central Minnesota Bowling Association Hall of Fame in St. Cloud in 1998.
