Einar Wick who passed away on July 9, 1966 was truly a pioneer of yesterday. He lived in Minneapolis and is survived by his wife Eva.

Einar won three state championships. In 1952 he was the Actual Singles winner, with a 681 score and won the All Events crown with a 1844 score. In 1955 he also was the singles champion with a score of 684. These tournaments were held at Melody Lanes Bowl in Minneapolis. Einar competed in 30 State Tournaments and 40 ABC championships.

Einar also was a champion in three International Bowling Association (IBA) tournaments in 1930, 1935, and 1936. He also won five Minneapolis city

titles, the years were 1932, 1950, 1951, 1956, and 1957.

Einar has one 300 game to his credit and he is a member of the Minneapolis Hall of Fame.
