Florence has been a MWBA member for 40 years. She held the following MWBA offices: Director – 5 years; and Secretary – 12 years. She served on the following MWBA committees as chairman; Jamboree – 2 years, Legislative – 3 years; Tournament Director – 12 years; News/Frams Facts – 12 years. When she was Secretary, ex officio of all MWBA committees except Nominating Committee 12 years. She worked with the Minnesota Bowling Council. She has been a MWBA Delegate from Hibbing WBA 5 years and as MWBA Director 5 years, MWBA Secretary 12 years and MWBA Life Member 4 years. She has been a WIBC Delegate from Hibbing WBA 13 years and as State Delegate 1 year. She has competed in 16 WIBC Championship Tournaments. She held the following Hibbing WBA offices, President – 3 years, Secretary – 5 years, Director – 9 years; and a league rep before director system started 8 years. She served on committee of Hibbing WBA 50th Anniversary celebration, Budget & Finance – 2 years, plus 8 years as ex officio and all other committee as ex officio 8 years except nominating. Florence was elected as life member of MWBA in 1989. Her career high game is 247, high series 586 and her high season average 165.
