George has four ABC Tournament titles: 1984 Team, Team All-Events 1985 Team All-Events, and 1988 Team. Also has five State Tournament titles: 1980 Actual Singles, 1994 Doubles Actual & Handicap (State Record) and 1998 Team Actual and Handicap (State Record).

He has 10 titles in the St. Paul Association Tournament: winning the Actual Team in 1985, 1986, 1987, 1993, 1994, and 1999 & the Handicap Team 1986, 1987, 1999. In the Minneapolis Association Tournaments he has titles in Actual Team and Team Challenge.

He was the St. Paul Masters Champion in 1990 and 1996. He has one CBA title. He has 5 titles in other tournaments including the Hoinke Classic Cincinnati, Midwest Senior Classic, St Cloud Kegle and Tri State Rochester.

Individually, his record includes eight 800 series, eighteen perfect games, one 299, three 298's, and over 300 series of 700 or better (5 in ABC & 15 in State tournaments).

His highest league average was a 236 in 2001-02 season. He was inducted into the St. Paul Bowling Hall of Fame in 1995. A member of the St. Paul All City Team four times and was King of the St. Paul bowlers one of those years, placed on the second team four times. He won the St. Paul City "George Dodor" award in 1985 with an 812 in the City Tournament.
