Jack was the All Events Champion in the MN State Tournament held in Austin in 1927 with a 1901 score. He was also a member of the Andrew Schoch Grocery team that won the Scratch Team Championship.

In 1929, the tournament was in Red Wing and Jack came in second place in All Events with a 1960. He and doubles partner, Joe Grady, won the Doubles Event with a 1350. He was again a member of the Scratch Team Champion, but this time with the Windsor Hotel team from St. Paul.

Although not known for sure, it is believed that he was a member of the Aquila's Cigars team that won an ABC Eagle.
