Jack, age 52, and his wife Barbara have two children - a boy and a girl and one grandchild. All of which are bowlers.
Jack has been involved with the sport of bowling for over 40 years. He was a member of the Minnesota State Championship Team for the 1976-77 season. He won the state singles title and all events title in 1987. He was a runner-up in the Minnesota Masters in 1994.
He was the Minneapolis City doubles champion in 1974 with Hall of Famer Mike Schmid. Individual championships include the 1977 Tribune Classic, the St. Paul City Singles in 1982, and the 1986 St. Paul Masters Tournament. He has won four CBA titles.
Jack was a member of the St. Paul All-City team two times and on its second team once.
He has competed in 30 state tournaments, 29 ABC National tournaments, and is currently on the PBA Senior tour.
Jack led the St. Paul City and Minnehaha Classic leagues in high average.
He has carried a 200+ average for over 30 years, has seven 300's, 13-299's and three 298 games to his credit. He has rolled over 200 seven hundred series in his career with a personal high of 786.
Jack is a member of the St. Paul Bowling Hall of Fame. He was elected in 1993.
