James Collier is 69 years old, married to Marilyn, and they have two boys.
Jim had been very active in the Junior Bowling Program in Minneapolis since 1957. For 35 years, Jim was a coach and an instructor in this program. Jim was also elected to the Minneapolis Bowling Association in 1969, and served as president in 1984-85. He was a league secretary for over 25 years.
On the State level, Jim was elected to the Minnesota State Men's Association as a director in 1982. He served on many committees and was elected a Vice President in 1990, becoming president for the 1993-94 season. He has 48 years of bowling in league competition, and has participated in 15 state tournaments.
On the lanes, Jim has had over 65 sanctioned 700 series, two 300 games, and has carried a 200+ average for 15 years during his career.
Jim was elected to the Minneapolis. Bowling Hall of Fame in 1987, and in 1996 will become a member of our State Hall of Fame.
