Jerry Dutler is 66 years old, married and has two children.

While in college at Mankato State, he won the famed Peterson Classic in Chicago in 1956. Since 1956, Jerry has been a bowling proprietor. He has had three different centers and is now the proprietor of the Sunset Bowl in Mankato. In 1975, our 47th Annual Tournament was held at Dutler's Bowl, also in Mankato.

Jerry has bowled three 300 games, three 299 games, two 298 games. He has seven Mankato Association titles to his credit, and also two state titles. In 1963, Jerry won the state doubles title with Jack Thavis (1412), and also the all events title with a 1959 total. He also was a member of the Thelmal Lanes team of Louisville, KY., which won the American Bowling Congress Classic Division Title in 1965. State Hall of Fame member Eddie Maehren of St. Paul was also a team member.

Dutler has been a member of the AMF staff of champions for 13 years and has conducted bowling clinics and seminars in Europe for 8 years. He was on the first televised bowling match at London's famed Wembley Stadium in the 1980's. What an outstanding bowling career Jerry Dutler has had.
