Superior Performance

Jerry Ernster has quite a list of accomplishments when it comes to bowling. Jerry has to his credit three 800's with an 806 his high on Jan. 18, 1995. He has rolled twelve 300's of which one was at the ABC tournament in 1998 at Reno, and four 299 games. He has averaged over 200 for 36 years.

Jerry has won numerous State Titles that include winning team titles in 1967, 1972, and 1996. He placed 15th in the 1998 Doubles at the ABC. He has won four association titles in the St. Paul Association. He won team event in 1969, 1970, 1978, and 1980.

Other titles came in the Peters Open, the St. Cloud Kegle, and team event in the Kiel Spiel at Hibbing, and one CBA Championship. He placed second in the 1974 Peterson Classic with a 1694 with eight consecutive 200 games.

In the Midwest Senior Classic he was first team member and Super Senior player of the year in 1998-1999 season.

He has been voted to the St. Paul All City Team 3 times. He also earned the CBA Bob Hanson Sportsmanship award.

Jerry has been a bowling instructor for over thirty years. Some of his pupils include a large number of the best bowlers in the Twin Cities. He was inducted into the St. Paul Hall of Fame in 1983.
