The name 'Leo Mann' was a household word in every bowling family in the upper Midwest.

His career spans 44 years and holds more records and titles than we will be able to list. These are a few of his accomplishments.

Leo has won 12 State Tournament championships in actual team, handicap team, doubles and singles as well as all events. Some of these totals were records, which stood for many years.

He placed 4th and 6th in ABC tournaments team events. He shot the 1st 700 to be sanctioned in the doubles event in Milwaukee in 1952.

In the St. Paul Association he has won the team, singles and all events titles as well as the doubles with his brother, John.

Leo bowled a 803 on the All-Star TV show in addition to two 300 games. One of which was in the State Tournament. 731 was his high in State Tournament competition.

In 1961 he was invited to enter the World Invitational Tourney and won 6th place for 100 games with a 213 average. As a frequent quest of the All-Star TV show he carried a 223 average for the 140 games that he appeared.

Leo was named to St. Paul All City Team 4 times and also named 'King of Bowlers' 4 times. In the 1962-63 season he averaged 224 for 90 games. This was a record for many years. Leo has won many of the tournaments in this region and other states, including a new car. In 1974, Leo was enshrined in the St. Paul Bowling Hall of Fame.
