When Lorraine retired in 1992, she became more active in the St. Paul Women's Bowling Association and served as a director until 1997 and then was elected treasurer. She now serves as a Director on the St. Paul USBC serving as Finance Chairperson.
She has served on the following committees in St. Paul: Chairman of the Budget Committee, Secretary's Gifts, Secretary's Kits, Annual Food Drive (10 years), Co-chair for the St. Paul Senior Mixed Tournament, Director of the St. Paul 600 Club and worked with the secretary's workshops at the annual meetings each year and volunteered her time to go to leagues to help setup programs for new secretaries. She worked at the City Tournament (Women and Open) as a check in person.
At the State level she has been chairperson for the sale of merchandise at the State Tournament in 1997, 2002 and 2008. Worked as scorekeeper at the State Tournament and served on the State Audit Committee and Nominating Committee.
Lorraine has been a delegate to the National Convention for 12 years. She also has been the chairperson for the Marching Band completion for 19 years in Roseville and helped secure names of troops in Iraq to receive portable bowling kits. Was elected to the St. Paul Hall of Fame in 2005.
