Mary Lou has been a member of the MWBA for 45 years. She has held the following MWBA offices: 1st Vice President – 2nd Vice President, 4 years; and Director, 5 years. She has served on the following MWBA Committees as a Chairman or as a member; Finance & Budget Committee 9 years – Convention Rules 1 years; Team USA Promotion, 1 years. MWBA Senior Tournament 2 years; MWBA 50th Anniversary; MWBA convention General chairman, 1 year; MWBA Tournament General Chairman 2 years; MWBA Director at the Doubles & Singles House, 2 years; and also served on the MWBA Convention Tellers, Credentials and Rules Committees. Mary Lou has been a delegate to the MWBA Convention from St. Cloud 22 years and as an Officer and Director of MWBA 9 years. Mary Lou has participated in at least 37 MWBA Tournaments.
Mary Lou has been a member of the St. Cloud WBA for 45 years. She has held the following St. Clo9ud WBA offices: Association President, 20 years; Vice President, 10 years; League President, 20 years; League Vice President, 14 years; League Secretary, 1 year; and League Treasurer, 5 years. She has been chairman of the following St. Cloud WBA Committees: Awards, 5 years; 50th Anniversary, 1 year; Hall of Fame, 1 year; and policy & Procedure Manual. She has served on all St. Cloud WBA Committees at one time or another. Other local organizations Mary Lou has worked with are: Certified Junior Coach; AJBC Secretary, 3 years; and AJBC Director, 6 years; and also was an AJBC Council Member 9 years. Mary Lou was inducted into the St. Cloud "Hall of Fame" in 1990.
Mary Lou has been a WIBC member for 45+ years. On the National level she has served as Assistant Sgt.-at-Arms and as a Teller in 1997. She has been a WIBC Delegate for 16+ years and has competed in 12+ tournaments.
Mary Lou has contributed the following valued services to the game of bowling; Auditor for 1990 Special Olympic Festival; hosted bus trips to MWBA Championship Tournaments for 15 years; Assisted with Area Recruitment Coordinators; Assisted with promoting rummage sale to defray the bus trips to MWBA Tournaments; a bowling representative in the 1967 US President Program "Lifetime Sports Project" and for 10+ years has verified the V.A. patient's scores for their National V.A. Bowling tournaments.
