Service with the National Association Committees: ABC "Red Tape Action, 2 years ABC Vice President installation, 1 year ABC Presidential Installation, 2 years ABC and USBC Winlabs Testing, 6 years USBC programs and awards.

Matt has been a major contributor to the enjoyment of bowling by working with Special Olympics, BVL, Team USA, Squad Organizer and many others. He was a Squad Organizer for 20+ teams to the National Championships for over 25 years. He served as Chairperson for the National Coca Cola Championships in 1996, State Coordinator of Teams USA 1990-1992, Volunteer for Team USA National Finals in 1994. Matt developed a Lane Certification/Lane Dressing video for Statewide training and Tournament Software for the State and City Mixed tournaments.

He had 35 years as a member of the Greater St. Paul BA (13 years Director, 2 VP, 1 year President and Life Member 7 years. Special Honors: USBC Helen Baker Volunteer, ABC/USBC Open Championships recognition for 25 years as a Squad Organizer and was inducted into the St. Paul Hall of Fame for Meritorious Service in 1996.
