Mavis has been a member of the MWBA for 48 years. She has participated in at least 3 MWBA Tournaments. Mavis has won titles in

MWBA 600 Club Tournaments and MWBA Senior Tournaments.

Mavis has been a member of the Redwood Falls WBA and Minneapolis WBA since 1945. She shared the title in the Doubles Event in the Minneapolis WBA Tournament in 1962, also the All-Events title in 1970 in the Minneapolis WBA Tournament. Mavis has a career high game of 289 – career high series of 728 – career high season average of 192 and she maintained an average of 185 for more than five years. Mavis was inducted in the Minneapolis WBA "Hall of Fame" in the 1980's.

Mavis has bowled in 44 WIBC Tournaments – placed 3rd in the WIBC Championship Tournament in 1970 in Tulsa.

Mavis has the following exceptional bowling accomplishments; won the Stransky's Diamond Classic in 1950 – won a car and stove on Bowlarama – became a Professional Bowler and placed 3rd in her first PWBA Tournament in San Antonio – won 3 titles in the Great Lakes Invitational Tournament (GLIT).

Special honors Mavis has received and her contributions to the game of bowling are; served as an officer in several leagues – taught bowling at many bowling establishments – won many mixed doubles titles – participated in many U.S. Open bowling events – The World's Invitational in Chicago – organized squads for 23 Peterson Classic in Chicago.
