She was a charter member of the MWBA and was a member for 42 years. During that time she served as a director from 1942-1951, vice-president from 1951-1964 and as president from 1965-1972. She was elected a life member in 1972.
She served as state delegate to the WIBC convention in Buffalo in 1959 and was a delegate to the convention in Atlanta in 1971.
She was co-proprietor of Recreation Lanes starting in 1947. She was a member of the Minnesota Bowling Council, AJBC/YABA. She served on the National Nominating Committee and was an instructor/advisor with the Brunswick Corporation. She wrote a bowling column entitled "Down Our Lanes" for the local newspaper in 1950. She served as president of the Southern Minnesota Bowling Proprietors Association. She also was a recognized bowler and won the 1971 MWBA all events title.
