Nancy started bowling in 1946 and started on a league in 1953. She has been a member of the MWBA for 45 years and competed in at least 35 MWBA Championship Tournaments. She maintained an average of 185 or better for 6 years during the 70's and 80's and also held a composite 180 average over a 25 year span. Her career high game was 279, high three-game series was 748 and high season average was 195.
Nancy's Minneapolis City Tournament titles with a team included 1st in 1967 (scratch), 1st in 1969 and 1977. She was 1st in 1974 in doubles with Gerry Lawrence and 1st in 1987 with Juette Holseth with a score of 1329. In the Minneapolis 600 Club Tournament in 1980 she had the high actual of 659. She is a charter member of the Ladies Central Bowlers Assn. In this tournament group, she took 1st in October 1983, January 1984, and September 1986. She was inducted into the Minneapolis WBA Hall of Fame in 1988.
Nancy has competed in many National Tournaments. She was on the team that had the highest 5 women series in the nation on 1/27/76 (3155) and the highest 5 women team game in the nation on 3/16/95 (1252). She was also on the team for ABC/WIBC National record 3 women/1 man series 2893 at the Mpls. Athletic Club.
