Member of Duluth Area AJBC/YABA Board of Directors since 1978. Served as President for six years.

Attended formation meetings of Minnesota YABA in 1982 and has served as State YABA Director until 1999.

Received Coach Certification in 1984 and has conducted coaching clinics around the State every year. Conducted Super Coach class at YABA National workshop. Currently Junior Olympic Master Instructor. Voted 1999 YABA National Coach of the Year. Member Duluth Area Board of Directors for 14 years, seven as President. Served eight years as a Director of Minnesota State Bowling Association. Has organized and directed several bowling events to promote the sport. Elected into Duluth Area Bowling Hall of Fame.
