Dick Finke was elected to the Minneapolis Board of Directors in 1954 and eventually served as Secretary-Treasurer from 1967 to 1984.
In 1955, Dick was elected to the State Board of Secretary-Treasurer from 1964-67 and later as State President. During his service on the State Board, Mr. Finke conducted the State Junior Tournament and chaired many committees. He's always respected and listened to at state meetings.
The year 1973 found Mr. Finke a member of the National ABC Board of Directors where he served on many committees and eventually was named an Honorary Director of ABC in 1989.
Dick is known for his hard work and total involvement to the sport of bowling. He is a deserving member of Minneapolis Hall of Fame and soon a deserving member of the State Hall of Fame.
