Rosy Vigness has been secretary of the Minneapolis WBA since the 1956-57 seasons. She has been ex-officio of all committees except nominating since that time. Rosy worked with the tournament chairman to bring the 1964 WIBC Tournament to Minneapolis.

She represented the Minneapolis WBA on the State Bowling Council until she became President of the Minnesota WBA – then she represented the state women's organization.

Rosy has one city Team Title to her name. She is a member of the 600 Club. Rosy was a co-coordinator of the Bowling Venue for the Olympic Festival.

She was elected director of the Minnesota WBA in 1963. She has served as a director, sergeant-at-arms and has been President for 12 years. She has conducted state workshops since 1977. She served as director – chairman of the AJBC State Championships for 5 years. Conducted the State 600 Club tournament 3 years. Rosy conducted several Mini-Jamborees throughout the state. She is a member of the Minnesota YABA Board of Directors.

She co-authored a manual to teach in-school bowling to physical education teachers in the early 1970s. Co-chaired the Coca Cola National Junior Championships in Minneapolis. She has served 4 years on the WIBC Nominating Committee. She is a charter member of Minneapolis WBA Hall of Fame for Meritorious Service.
