Sonny, age 56, and his wife Barb have two children. Has carried an ABC card for 41 years and has a 700 series to his credit. He was inducted into the Rochester Hall of Fame in 1972.

Was a coach for 4 years and coordinator for 2 years of the Minnesota State High School Bowling League in the Rochester area. Served as the Commissioner of Bowling for the Star of the North Games. Was a volunteer for the Special Olympics, and Olympic Fest.

Has been the Rochester Association Secretary/Treasurer for the past 18 years, being a member of the Board for over 25 years. Has been active in the Rochester YABA for over 20 years, serving as the President for eight years. Was instrumental in the formation of the Rochester Bowling Council.

Currently a Life Member of the State Association, Sonny has served as the President and has been on the Board for over 20 years. Has also competed in the State Tournament over 20 years.

Has been a delegate to the National Convention and competed in the ABC tournament for 20 years.

If it's involved with bowling on the YABA level, Local or State Association level, Sonny is there to help with whatever is needed to be done.
