Terry has earned four ABC titles which include 1984 Team & Team All Events, 1985 Team All Events and 1988 Team Event. He has five State Tournament titles including Actual & Handicap Team (1974 & 1993) and Team All Event (2002).

He has earned 15 St Paul City Association titles which include: 1978, 1986 Actual Team; 1986 Handicap Team; 1990 Actual Singles; 1977, 1981, 1992, 2003 Actual Doubles; 1981, 2003 Handicap Doubles; 1974, 1988 & 2003 Actual All Events; and 1974 & 2003 Handicap All Events.

In 1979, Terry led the eight game qualifying block for the ABC Masters. In 1983 he was the Minnesota Men's US Open Champion.

He currently has won six CBA titles and was elected into the CBA Hall of Fame in 1994. Other tournaments wins include the Tribune Classic and the Minnehaha Open Tournament. He won the St Paul 700 Club Tournament in 1975.

He joined the St Paul Hall of Fame in 1990. Has been a member of the St Paul All City Team for five years, 1973-74, 1974-75, 1977-78, 1979-80 and 1980-81. Was named King of the All City team for the 1973-74 season.
