Tom has two (2) State Tournament titles with a Team Actual and Handicap in1988.

He has won titles in the St. Paul Association Tournament in Team Event in 1978, All Events in 1978, Singles in 1978 and Doubles in 1979. Tom was the St. Paul Masters Champion in 1974.

Tom has several national tournament titles which include Big Ten Champion (University of Minnesota) in 1966, Doubles Champion in 1974 (Peterson Classic) and two (2) Team Championships (Peterson Classic).

Other tournament titles of note include Singles and All Events Champion (Minnehaha Open), Team Champion winner twice at both Hibbing and St. Cloud Kegle, and Singles Champion at Sacred Heart.

Individually, his record includes 8 perfect games, four 299 games, two 298 games and over 400 series of 700 or better.

He was inducted into the St. Paul Bowling Hall of Fame in 2000 and currently serves as a board member in that organization.

Tom has been active as a youth bowling coach for over 40 years starting at Maplewood bowl for 5 years with the next 35 years at Flaherty’s Bowl.
