Tom started coaching juniors at Mady's Bowl back in 1973. Tom was statistician for the CBA from 1984 thru 1992 when he took over as Tournament Director He helped organize the CBA/MJBT Baker Doubles Tournament for the last six years and raised scholarship money of $1000 each year and he had Linds donate 14 pair of shoes to the juniors the last five years.

Tom was Team USA Sectional Coordinator for six years from 1994 thru 1999, organizing the State Finals and running qualifying events through the CBA to send the best bowlers from the state to the National Finals. He has been the Minneapolis Masters Tournament director 1996 to 2005 and the Minnesota Masters Tournament Director 1989 to the present.

He has been Captain of the Linds Laker Bowling Team since 1986. Tom could have also been nominated for Superior Performance. He has maintained an average of 200 or better for 20 years. He has an 800 to his credit, nine perfect games, six 299's and three 298's. He has three team titles from Fargo, three team titles from St. Cloud, two team titles from Rochester and one team title from Fairmont. He has also won on the CBA tour and is a member of the Minneapolis Hall of Fame.
