Steve has had twenty-six 300 games, ten 800 series. He was inducted into the Mpls. Bowling Hall of Fame in August 2003. He's participated in the ABC/USBC Tournament for 23 years with a 199 career average.

Some other accomplishments include Mpls. All-City 1st Team, 1999 – St. Paul All-City 1st Team, 1996 – High Average in Greater St Paul Assn. 1995-96 (226) – High Series in Mpls. Assn. 1997-98 (858) CBA board member, 1990-99 – CBA President 1998-99 – Member of team that shot Baker 300 game in St. Paul Team Challenge, 1998. His All Events score of 2262, actual at Rochester Tri-State Tournament in 1988 was the 5th highest score ever bowled, nation-wide for 4 years and remained MN State record for 12 years.
